Greetings. Hope all is well!

I would like to write about GDPR and how it affects your online business. It went into affect on May 25, 2018.

GDPR -General Data Protection Regulation

GDPR was created to protect every citizen in the EU.

It protects the user from online abuse and it gives data protection from any violations on their personal data. For more information from Wikipedia please click here.

Whether or not your company is based in the EU, this law can affect your if you are doing business around the globe.

Lawyers and online companies can charge a high price to make your website compliant. The price can range from several hundreds of US dollars to over a thousand US dollars.

The fines for non-compliance is 10 million euros ($11,190,870 US Dollars) or 2% of annual global turnover, and can go up to 20 million euros ($22,381,740 US Dollars) or 4% of annual global turnover. As you can see for yourself, it is better to do everything you can to comply.

If you don’t have the GDRP on your website and you are doing business around the world, please check the product below called GDPR My Site by Randolf Smith. You can add it to one or many of your websites, depending on the program purchased.

Please check it out, and in any event you may need it, it will be available for purchase. It is very cheap and it will help your business follow the law in the case you do business in EU. If you don’t want to invest on the product below, then please find another source to get in compliance, and you will be happy you did.

From 25 May 2018, the EU GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) will affect every organisation that processes the personal information of EU residents. A really interesting and insightful blog post. Tens of thousands of organisations around the world are facing a major upheaval in the way they process data. Complying with GDPR is not straightforward. It will require detailed planning and collaboration with all the businesses in your chain.
